I choose to be sexy. So?

Jennifer Lawrence has shot at the trolls and media, who criticised her over her revealing dreass, calling the debate “sexist” and “utterly ridiculous.” The 27-year-old actor took to Facebook to give it back to those who had commented that she should have worn a coat in the cold weather of London at the event for her latest Soviet spy thriller Red Sparrow. Lawrence wrote she did not think she needed to cover her dress with “a coat and a scarf” and even if she was standing in the snow, it was her “choice” to go for coveralls or not. She was dressed in black Versace gown with a plunging sweetheart-style neckline and a hip-high slit. “Wow. I don’t really know where to get started on this ‘Jennifer Lawrence wearing a revealing dress in the cold’ controversy. This is not only utterly ridiculous, I am extremely offended. That Versace dress was fabulous, you think I'm going to cover that gorgeous dress up with a coat and a scarf? I was outside for five minutes. I would have stood in the snow for that dress because I love fashion and that was my choice,” she wrote. — PTI/Los Angeles
