The scrip jumped 17.44 per cent to close at Rs 60.95 on the BSE. During the day, it climbed 24.85 per cent to Rs 64.80.
Extending its gains for second session, Sensex settled 157.14 points, or 0.40 per cent, higher at 39,592.08.
The broader NSE Nifty was quoting 32.60 points, or 0.28 per cent, up at 11,829.05.
After trading in the red for a better part of the day, Sensex pared losses and settled 311.98 points up.
Top losers in Sensex included HCL Tech, Sun Pharma, Hero MotoCorp, Asian Paints, Tata Steel, TechM, TCS and IndusInd Bank.
Top gainers in Sensex pack included IndusInd Bank, L&T, Bharti Airtel, Asian Paints, TCS, NTPC, SBI, ITC among others.
The broader NSE Nifty tumbled 107.65 points, or 0.91 per cent, to 11,724.10.
A ban imposed by BSE on the futures and options contracts on Jet Airways shares lapsed on Friday.
The broader NSE Nifty was quoting 32.25 points, or 0.27 per cent, down at 11,799.50.
After gyrating over 700 points during the day, the BSE gauge settled 488.89 points, or 1.25 per cent, higher at 39,601.63.
