Silver jumped Rs 495 to Rs 46,499 per kg compared to the previous close of Rs 46,004 per kg.
Silver prices declined by Rs 65 to Rs 45,485 per kg against the previous close of Rs 45,550, HDFC Securities said.
Silver moved up by Rs 14 to Rs 45,649 per kg against previous close of Rs 45,635 per kg.
Silver prices gained Rs 75 to Rs 45,610 per kg from Rs 45,535 per kg in the previous trade.
Silver prices gained Rs 234 to Rs 45,460 per kg from Saturday's close of Rs 45,226 per kg.
In the international market, gold was trading at USD 1,464.8 per ounce, while silver was quoting at USD 16.62 per ounce.
However, silver prices rose Rs 46 to Rs 44,691 per kg from Rs 44,645 per kg in the previous trade.
Gold is trading at Rs 38,895 per 10 gram in the national capital, according to HDFC Securities.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for February next year traded higher by Rs 83, or 0.22 per cent, at Rs 38,410 per 10 gram.
Gold is trading at Rs 38,789 per 10 gram in the national capital on Tuesday as stronger rupee limited the gains.
