PUNE: Mercedes-Benz, India’s largest German luxury car maker, which showcased Mercedes GLC SUV facelift earlier this year at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, has now launched it in India.

Priced at Rs 52.75 lakh to Rs 57.75 at pan-India showroom, the Mercedes GLC SUV comes in two options - GLC 200 and GLC 220d 4Matic. It will rival the Land Rover Discovery Sport, the Audi Q5, the BMW X3 and the Volvo XC60 in the country.

At present, the Pune-headquartered Mercedes-Benz offers the largest SUV portfolio in the luxury car segment in the country at eight SUVs.

The new SUV receives a mid-life cycle update and it now gets subtle styling tweaks, BS-6 compliant petrol and diesel engines and the new MBUX interface system, which debuts in India for the first time on the Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV.

The new MBUX gets ‘Hey Mercedes’ voice command interface and a large central touchpad that is seen for the first time on the GLC range. Additionally, the GLC facelift also gets updated textures to name another change in the cabin.
