On Friday, the government data showed GDP growth for the second quarter has slowed down to a 26 quarter low of 4.5 per cent.

Maruti, which sells one out of two cars bought in the country, sold 2.3 per cent more cars to 1,39,121 units last month against 1,35,948 units sold in October last year.
