The valuation of TCS tumbled Rs 26,900.6 crore to Rs 6,22,401.90 crore, making it the top loser among the pack.

RIL's market valuation zoomed Rs 16,671.95 crore to Rs 9,23,613.71 crore.

RIL, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank and SBI were the other firms that witnessed gains in their market capitalisation.

The m-cap of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) zoomed Rs 22,145.92 crore to Rs 3,98,290.92 crore and that of HDFC Bank jumped Rs 18,264.93 crore to Rs 6,23,892.08 crore.
