According to EY's private equity deal tracker, July 2019 recorded investments worth USD 8.3 billion across 106 deals.

Existing investors including Shunwei Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, SAIF Capital, India Quotient and Morningside Venture Capital also participated in the funding round.
ShareChat raises USD 100 mn in series D funding from Twitter, others

To date, ShareChat has raised a total of USD 224 million, the company said in a statement.

The outperformance is mainly attributable to the record level of investments worth $11.1 billion in infrastructure and real estate. These two sectors together accounted for 48 per cent of all PE/VC investments.
