FM Nirmala Sitharaman in her Budget speech had said that local sourcing norms will be eased for FDI in single brand retail sector.

The move will also lead to cheaper working capital loans for industry.

The government said the Depository Receipt Scheme 2014 is expected to be operationalised soon by Sebi.
